Even if we could easily dream of a history devoid of the inventions and learning applied mathematics has made possible, it strains the mind to imagine a world without even simple counting. WebbTrying to learn math from the history is not a very efficient or easy way to learn mathematics (ditto physics), and it is probably easier to ignore it, as the history is often quite complex.
